Sole Sensations at Gelato Station
I’m rather taken with this idea: a gelato shop, hosting an exhibition, of “custom designed fantasy shoe sculptures.” It’s just too bizarre to miss; the invitation skates on the edge of complete absurdity (“Come see shoes that lift the soul”??). The sculptures are by Robert Tabor, and will be on display through November 30th. Some not-great photos here. The gelato’s not bad, either (though it’s not my thing):
Gelato Station, 5580 NE 4th Ct (next to Soyka and that amazing carwash pizza place that I’ve eaten at a million times and never catch the name of), 305-756-0407.

Andiamo, and yes, it’s really yummy!
I love love love the pinapple basel gelato they have! It’s awesome!
Andiamo! Best pizza, bar none and it’s open late.
great pizza but i hear it is at risk of being torn down.
Love Andiamo pizza, though I am wondering if Pizza Rustica might have better pizza?
It’s fine. A lot of places get bandied about as “the best pizza in Miami,” and while they’re all fine, none stands head and shoulders above the rest to warrant passionate discussion from me.
Pizza Rustica is something else entirely. One of my favorite foods ever, but it’s so different from regular pizza that it’s in a category of its own.
I don’t care for ice cream, but SHOES and PIZZA RUSTICA??? I’m in heaven!
Prezzemolo.
It’s a matter of taste. I like thin crust, wood oven. andiamo, rosinella in downtown and anthony’s in fort lauderdale.
I like pizza rustica a lot, but mostly the toppings. The potato one is my fav.
CASOLA’S
Grease and all. Especially the grease.
Dude, pizza place: Andiamo’s. That is the best gelato place in town. They come up with crazy mixes. my fav is definetly the pineapple basil. Sick. Soyka sucks though, runny quiche. cojones.
cheers
