Should the voters of Miami Dade County change the county charter to a strong mayor form of government? Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, January 23 to decide this question.
At the UEL debate, Senator Gwen Margolis will argue FOR the charter amendment. County Commissioner Bruno A. Barreiro will argue AGAINST the amendment.

I attended. Bruno Barreiro failed to show. 85 to 100 attendees. 75% for a Strong Mayor. Gwen Margolis described County as a “Scandal a Week”.
