The Joseph Young House, built by the founder of Hollywood as his residence, is up for sale. The house is from 1925, is a huge 7,200 square feet, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Asking price is “$2.39 — 2.79 million.”

Nice looking house on a too-busy street. And even though it’s large, some of its individual rooms are cramped: people were smaller 75 years ago.
I’ve seen inside of this house on HGTV. I think the owner said they bought for around half million.
