A review of all the venues for live music in town. It’s a little depressing to see like this . . . I can’t think of any others, but I’d have thought the list would be longer. Anyway, it’s fun to read, and includes a review of the women’s bathrooms at each location. (via MN)

If they’re including Jazid and Transit Lounge, I think the list can be substantially longer… Here are some off of the top of my head that have a permanent stage and set up for live music.
PS14
Manuel Artime Theater
Hoy Como Ayer/Kimbara Kumbara
Lincoln Theater
Do FIU and UM stages count(not their arenas)?
Bayfront Amphitheater
even Mansion has a stage (albeit shows are rare and typically dance related)
I remember seeing Love and Rockets at the Gusman in the early 90’s. One of the most memorable shows in Miami. Dead Can Dance at Gusman was also great. That Venue is under-used!
these are bars w live music, often the best kind:
the office
finnegans on linc road
abraxas lounge
mr moes
scottys landing
el gato on coral way
gordon biersch brewpub
fritz&franz
john martins
