Grammar test: what is wrong with the first sentence of this article?
Better question: What’s right with it?
It’s impossible to tell which side the author is referring to when he talks about the Mayor’s veto pen.
Correct: In a lame attempt at clever wording, the author has managed to be ambiguous about the very point of the article.
It’s forgivable that it was written this way but, damn, the Today’s editors need to take lighter tokes off the bong.
