Wonderful news! They hired someone who actually knows about theatre production. The articles states…

“Wilker is credited with creating the PBS series, Kennedy Center Presents, as well as the Mark Twain Comedy Awards […] He also launched national tours of Kennedy Center theatrical and family programs, free concerts, circus and cabaret productions designed to broaden the center’s audience”

Wilker seems like he’ll be good. I always wonder about Hardy, though — is he sort of taking the fall for something that everyone knew would be full of problems at the beginning?

Also, this line from Ricky Arriola strikes me as just weird:

“This is about changing CEOs,” he said, “not making wholesale changes.”

What the fuck is THAT? Why are they bringing in a new guy and cutting him off at the knees before he even starts?!

I wouldn’t worry too much about Hardy. Whatever “fall” he may be taking for something that everyone (that would include Hardy himself) knew would fail, I’m sure that 326,000 dollars will afford him a gentle landing.
