5 Architectural firms have been asked to submit proposals for a new Miami Science Museum building to go next to the MAM building in Museum Park.

Gonna be interesting to see what’s the final result..
Why are they bothering? The Miami Science Museum is supposed to raise at least $100 Mil in private donations before they get access to the taxpayer money. They will not admit to raising any money so far. They should be spending all their time fund raising.
And worst of all they want to have the taxpayers pave Bicentennial Park, give them a prime $150 Mil piece, not provide enough parking and then charge the public to enter the building the taxpayers funded.
Anyone want to suggest the Miami Science Museum spend their time cleaning up its current location and raising money privately?
