    Pizza Rustica is overrated

FWIW, I’ve heard some say that the Lincoln Rd. location doesn’t make their pizza as good as the original on 9th street. I’ve been to all three and for my money I didn’t notice any drop in quality. (never realized there was one in the Grove)

The Lincoln Road location is as good as 9th Street and has a wider variety of pizzas; the Chick-n-grill/Rustica combo on SW 8th Street west of 2nd Ave is terrible.. tried it twice and gave up – it was barely better than frozen Publix pizza.

I love the idea of the Washington Ave Pizza Rustica because it’s closest to my humble abode, but it’s tough in practice to convince myself eat there, since the entire corner of that block smells like… Washington Ave.

Right. Once in awhile it can be fun to eat on the street — practically in the gutter, really. For the most part, I walk my pizza home. That way, I can eat it with decent beer, instead of the Bud/Budlight options available on tap at PR.
