According to a study by 1000 Friends of Florida, Miami-Dade county is one of only two places in Florida not expected to be completely built-out in 2060 (the other is the panhandle).

    If and only of the region becomes much more densely settled, and allowing for expansion beyond the current western boundary. Let’s see what happens when Coral Gables, Pinecrest, etc. get invaded by high rises (a la Dadeland Mall area) along the Dixie Highway corridor.
