What a joke.] take heart: another party, coinciding with the release/screening of a Jimbo’s documentary (!) takes place Saturday. The movie starts at 8pm, the party starts earlier. Congrats Jimbo and crew!
- The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival begins today.
- Emergenza Semifinals at Churchill’s, Sat and Sun.
- The Miami Music Festival.
- Cachao (with Andy Garcia on bongos!), tonight.
- Jesse Jackson at Stop Miami, Sunday.

The new University of Miami building will be over by Civic Center, not downtown. You know, past the Miami River where the jails and youth detention centers and public hospitals are.
I would SO love to see Cachao tonight.
